Exceptional transports or heavy transports are transports with excess masses. In Switzerland, police escorts are mandatory above certain masses and weights. Since 2019, these police tasks may also be performed by specially trained private personnel. In the corresponding special permits / exceptional transport permits, the respective regulations are issued by the state. The so-called ATB (exceptional transport escort) drivers safely perform transport escort within the framework of national regulations. Our own warehouses, specifically designed for heavy goods, are distributed throughout Switzerland and are therefore always close to you. In total, more than 40,000 m² of storage space is available just for heavy goods. This makes ETE the most efficient logistics provider in the country in the warehousing sector as well.
Together with the other pallet warehouses, EMIL EGGER AG offers areas of around 200,000 m². High floor loads and overhead crane systems up to over 60 t are standard. All warehouses are built according to the latest standards and are also heated if necessary. Likewise, ETE has generous external warehouses.
In addition, the flexibility of the EMIL EGGER warehouse infrastructure gives customers the greatest possible leeway and saves costs. Our customers only ever pay for the storage space they actually need. Based on demand, they can store their goods on short, medium or long term.

EMIL EGGER offers a wide range of forklifts for indoor and outdoor applications in the field of warehousing and removals. From 1.4 tons to 7 tons lifting capacity, forklifts can be rented from us in external operation. From 7 tons to 16 tons lifting capacity, we offer rental only including operation of the equipment.
Heavy-duty forklifts can be used to load or move heavy machinery. Usually, lifting heights of up to six meters are possible. ETE also has telescopic forklifts that can reach lifting heights of up to 13 metres. Together with you, we will find the right machine from our fleet for every application.
