Locomotive crashes into construction train near Bern - EMIL EGGER carries out the removal of the crashed rail vehicles

A locomotive collided with a stationary construction train at Zollikofen station (BE) on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The locomotive driver was slightly injured. No other persons were harmed.

Two rail cranes separated the vehicles that were wedged into each other. The complex recovery operation was only possible with the overhead lines switched off.

Not far from the fashionable spa and resort town of St. Moritz in the Swiss canton of Graubünden, a Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane has installed a 176-ton railroad bridge.
