Relocation of HPHT presses for Algordanza

Algordanza AG is the only manufacturer of memorial diamonds worldwide. From the urn ashes of the deceased, a diamond is created that can always be carried with you and is everlasting. The isolation of the carbon, by means of a chemical process is carried out in the Swiss laboratory by experienced laboratory technicians. To enable crystal synthesis, conditions must be created as in the earth’s interior. Diamonds are formed by pressure and high temperatures. This is simulated by HPHT (High Pressure – High Temperature) presses and allows the memory diamonds to be created.

42 m high observation tower was completed in three strokes

The wood used for the construction of the tower comes directly from the hardwood forest. Approximately 310 cubic meters of wood were processed. The whole tower weighs a total of 190 tons. The challenge of stacking the weighty and large prefabricated elements of 42 tons each on top of each other was solved by means of crane work by EMIL EGGER AG. The modules were mounted on top of each other in three lifts up to a height of 42 m by means of a 450-tonne pneumatic crane.
