What does the blind spot feel like from a truck driver's perspective? This impressive experience was recently shared with over 1,800 schoolchildren in the canton of Solothurn - and we were able to take part!

We support the Solothurn cantonal police’s “Learning through experience” project, which uses interactive stations to raise young people’s awareness of the dangers of road traffic in a realistic way.

👨‍🏫 Also present: our technical advisor and apprentice training manager Andreas Schär, who explained to the young people directly on the EMIL EGGER truck how quickly they disappear into blind spots – and what this means for safety.

➡️ Why are we doing this?
Because road safety is not a theory – it’s a responsibility. And that starts with the next generation.

A huge thank you to the cantonal police, the schools and the canton of Solothurn for their commitment.
