After the new abutment foundations had been prepared by the master builder Implenia, the new structure, which was produced in the immediate vicinity, was picked up, lifted and driven into place. The new underpass, which weighed around 190 tons, was then set down with pinpoint accuracy using the jack-up system.
Using a 100-tonne pneumatic crane, we then moved two prefabricated wall elements under the catenary wires and the high-voltage line on Sunday night.
The biggest challenge:
Extremely little space for the maneuvers – every detail had to be precisely planned and implemented.
Thanks to great teamwork with our long-standing partner Schares and precise technology, the project was completed successfully and on time.
Many thanks also to our customer Implenia for their trust.
At EMIL EGGER, we don’t just move loads – we create connections.
