The focus of the operation was the controlled dismantling of a total of 52 bridge elements, each weighing up to 500 tonnes. Two of our most powerful cranes were deployed for this demanding task: the Liebherr LR 11000 crawler crane and the Liebherr LTM 1650 mobile crane. Working in confined spaces and under considerable time pressure in shift operations, the individual elements were lifted step by step, safely and with millimetre precision.
A project of this magnitude requires far more than just lifting power. Crucial factors include precise planning, well-thought-out logistics and a well-coordinated team that works together reliably even under demanding conditions. It was precisely this teamwork that made the successful execution of this operation possible.
The video footage now available illustrates not only the technical dimensions but also the high level of precision and coordination behind every single lift.
