Work of art installed in Zurich Werdhölzli

Inclined balance - crane work for art

The artwork "Schräg im Gleichgewicht" was created in 1984. It was dismantled in 2014 for the renovation of the entrance area and temporarily stored at Werdhölzli.

In July 2024, we were allowed to reinstall the work of art.

A 150-tonne pneumatic crane and a truck were needed to load and transport the 45-tonne concrete slab and place it in its location.

There, our industrial movers temporarily stored the slab on air cushions until the pipes arrived and the slab was balanced using steel cables.
