Crane logistics for listed pedestrian bridge

Last Monday morning, we were able to accompany a very special moment with our crane logistics: After several months of renovation, the listed Schönausteg in Bern was lifted back into its original position above the River Aare.

Using one of our powerful mobile cranes, we positioned the 45-ton pre-assembled jetty over the water with millimeter precision – a job that required precision and teamwork. Thanks to our client Marty Korrosionsschutz AG and everyone involved for the smooth collaboration!
We are proud to have made our contribution to this traditional structure with over 120 years of history. The popular footbridge will be usable again from April 23, 2025!

Precise crane operation in winter conditions

On the first weekend in May, EMIL EGGER successfully completed another important construction phase on the Reuss Bridge in Lucerne. The listed railroad bridge – over which around 200 trains pass every day – is currently being extensively renovated. The last major renovation was carried out in 1987.
