EMIL EGGER carries out demanding machine installation and assembly work for the energy infrastructure. Two heat accumulators and two cold accumulators were installed and assembled safely, precisely and on schedule.

For the PLACAD heating network in Fribourg, we were able to precisely insert and install four energy storage units from Jenni Energietechnik. Two heat storage tanks, two cold storage tanks – positioned with millimeter precision in an ongoing construction site environment.

Such projects show what our industrial and assembly department achieves on a daily basis:
Bring in heavy components safely, fit them precisely and hand them over ready for operation – even where space is tight and timing is crucial.

Precision in time with rail traffic
On the first weekend in May, EMIL EGGER successfully completed another important construction phase on the Reuss Bridge in Lucerne. The listed railroad bridge – over which around 200 trains pass every day – is currently being extensively renovated. The last major renovation was carried out in 1987.

The Seftau footbridge in Felsenau near Bern was successfully excavated on April 28, 2026. The 53-metre-long foot and cycle bridge connects the municipalities of Bern and Bremgarten bei Bern and is currently undergoing extensive renovation.

EMIL EGGER lifts 56-tonne girders with millimeter precision
Our team was able to accompany a demanding precision lift on the Seedammcenter project in Pfäffikon SZ: A 56-tonne girder was positioned together with other concrete elements with millimetre precision. A 450-tonne pneumatic crane from EMIL EGGER was used for this work, which lifted the heavy components safely and in a controlled manner to their intended position.
