The isolation of the carbon, by means of a chemical process is carried out in the Swiss laboratory by experienced laboratory technicians. To enable crystal synthesis, conditions must be created as in the earth’s interior. Diamonds are formed by pressure and high temperatures. The wood used for the construction of the tower comes directly from the hardwood forest. Approximately 310 cubic meters of wood were processed. The whole tower weighs a total of 190 tons.
