EMIL EGGER heavy lift logistics for ARA Worblental

Precise placement of 3 storage tanks

On behalf of Stiefenhofer AG, Behälterbau, EMIL EGGER was commissioned to transport three storage tanks, each measuring 14.6 x 4.2 x 4.0 m and weighing 28.5 tons, from Bonaduz to Worblaufen to the WORBLENTAL waste water treatment plant and to place them with pinpoint accuracy using two mobile cranes.

Both access to the site and the space for the assembly of the crane luffing jib were severely restricted. The stroke was also quite tricky due to the tight conditions. Thus, even a fence had to be removed in advance to ensure access for the necessary fleet.

There was a great interaction between the ETE sites in St. Gallen and Avenches for this order. The project managers, dispatch and the drivers all gave full performance.
