Despite being secured with a St. Andrew&#8217;s cross, the driver drove over the level crossing and collided with the train. This caused the railcar to jump off the tracks.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, there were only a few passengers on the train and no one was injured. The train driver received psychological care after the shock.<\/p>\n<p>The damage to the Appenzeller Bahn is estimated at several hundred thousand francs. In order to be able to resume operations, EMIL EGGER was commissioned for the recovery.
