Two central work steps in a tight time frame<\/strong><\/p>\n

The work was carried out during precisely coordinated breaks in rail operations. Two challenging steps were completed within this tight time frame: <\/p>\n

  • Excavation of the existing auxiliary bridge<\/li>\n
  • Lifting in the second, renovated bridge section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    With a weight of around 185 tons and a length of 47 meters per bridge element, maximum precision was required – from the pick-up to the millimeter-precise final position.<\/p>\n

    Well-rehearsed technology for maximum precision<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Powerful and optimally coordinated equipment was used for the implementation:<\/p>\n

    • LR 11000 large crawler crane for precise lifts<\/li>\n
    • THP modular trolleys for moving the bridge sections<\/li>\n
    • Two heavy-duty tractors for controlled pulling and positioning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The THP (Trailer Heavy Platform) trailers used are modular heavy-duty platforms (low-loaders) that are specially designed for transporting extremely heavy and large-volume loads. Thanks to their flexible combination and the high number of axle lines, the weight is optimally distributed – a key requirement for the safe transportation of bridge elements of this dimension. <\/p>\n
