For dismantling, the bridge superstructure is first divided into segments using sawing technology. The bridge sections are then lifted out safely and precisely using a pneumatic and crawler crane.<\/p>\n

In order to ensure safety during the work, column supports are being installed in advance to secure the pendulum columns, additional position stabilizers for the superstructure and support towers.<\/p>\n

The existing prestressed concrete bridge with a total length of 120 meters will be dismantled mainly during rail closure breaks and in 24-hour operation in order to keep disruptions to rail traffic to a minimum. A particular challenge here is the limited movement space of the large cranes due to the adjacent railroad lines.<\/p>\n
