Training as a professional truck driver
Become a professional chauffeur without any previous experience. The only requirement is the possession of a Swiss driver’s licence cat. B.
Our lateral entry training includes:

The apprenticeship lasts three years. During this time, you will go through various departments and get to know the work processes and activities in the office until you are able to contribute in the operational area.
Logistics technician EFZ
As a logistics technician EFZ, a 3-year apprenticeship awaits you. With us, you can work in various warehouse areas and get to know all facets of the activities in warehouse logistics.
Road transport specialist, EFZ
This apprenticeship lasts a total of three years. With us, you will learn the profession from the ground up and will be carefully prepared for your later work as a Profi chauffeur.

Anniversary celebration EMIL EGGER
Finally, we could catch up with you in 2022 for the 90th anniversary celebration. Corona-related one year later than originally planned. It was a great pleasure to welcome the approximately 1,000 visitors to the headquarters in St. Gallen. The achieved decades of the family business EMIL EGGER could be celebrated and appreciated together.
The event was organized by our personnel manager Walter Meier. His last big event, which he organized with great attention to detail, before he can enjoy his well-deserved retirement at the end of June after 47 years of service.
After the ceremonial welcome and speeches, in addition to a photo session to capture a pictorial memory of so many visitors, there was also a motorcycle stunt show. Numerous stations then provided the many guests with food and drink, and in good spirits they then went to the total of 21 stations, which promised exciting and thrilling attractions. So was the crane simulator, driving a truck or forklift, stacking carts, arrow shooting, etc. Also the smallest ones did not come too briefly beside bouncy castle, bull riding, candy floss, gas balloons etc..
The particularly touching farewell of Rolf Kocher and Walter Meier into retirement was a nice highlight at the end, before the party ended with sunshine and a cozy get-together.
